Hi,

i am looking at fitting an aftermarket cat back system for my 111s, which is the best to go for in your opinions.... ??

i'm not looking for anything that is extra loud and OTT and certainly nothing that booms as this would drive me mad on long journeys !!

anyway ive been told that the Lotus system is quite refined and only gets loud when you really give it some RPM but would like to hear from anybody who has one or anyone who has something different ( Janspeed etc )

Cheers

I have just had an eliseparts s/s exhaust fitted and I must say I am pleased with the result. Quiet enough when cruising but sounds nice when giving it full beans!

if it s for an S2 then the official Lotus (Magnex) one is a good choice for a nice sounding exhaust thats not boomy on the motorway.

If it's for an S1 I've had both the mild steel LSS one (Janspeed IIRC) and recently replaced it with a B&C Stainless Steel one.

B&C one is the better of the two both for performance and sound. Lovely roarty note when you give it some beans but pretty refined at cruising revs. Not as quiet as the std one but then that sounds like a hairdryer...

I am probably going to go for a Larini and I have heard good things about them.
