Most of the oil has left the engine and now resides in the cooling system.

Please can anybody advise on the best method to flush out oil from the Elise cooling system?

So far I have:

1) Fairy liquid (the foaming agent is against this one)
2) Washing Powder (Ariel)
3) Dish washer powder solution

The option for go is washing powder; spring Meadow or Mountain fresh mmmm.

Seriously any suggestions welcome even sudgestions.

I have found that a litre of truck cleaner (or trafic film remover) added to the coolant and 20 minutes or so idling gets the cooling system clean as a whistle.....

I believe normal coolant will lift out the oil. Your bigger problem is how not to get more oil in the engine. If you run the engine without oil you will damage it. I realy wouldnt worry about it untill the head gasket has been done.

Gunk?

takes oil marks and grease off the engine no reason why you couldnt run it through the cooling system provided you throughly rinsed it out afterwards.
