Got my first lotus a couple of weeks ago, its an early s2 - great car just one small niggle on it.
When ticking over the engine constantly hunts between 700 rpm and 1000 rpm, about once every second or so.
When its cold, it seems like it wants to stall but never quite does.
Other than this it drives fine. I had read about problems with the airflow bypass valve (or something) thats controls the tick over ? Any suggestions, or is it a lotus dealer visit ?
Thanks

I had the same problem but it developed till it would not idle at all! I had to have my foot partly on the gas the whole time, not much fun. The dealer ended up putting a new alternator on
Luckily it was done under warrenty.
Im not saying you have the same problem but its worth getting checked
