Bought a Mk 1 Elise a year ago and am still fidlding around with trying to get the best set up for the speakers. Have a set of Alpine speakers with tweeters and was wondering if anyone had any bright ideas of where to wire them. Minimal work please!

Not exactly hassle free but I have placed my tweeters where the outside of the four air vents sit. Remove the vents, make a disc and mount the tweeter into it. Then mount the disc into the gap left by the vent.

no good installing up on the dash as the sound isnt directed towards cabin, i double sided mine on the coin trays angled towards the cabin, easy quick and at no cost. not as good as the tweeter pods from elise parts but also it didnt cost £105.

Two Focal speakers fitted last year with integral tweeters much better than the stock speakers.

They aren't pointing directly at you but they are angled as best as possible. Prefered them there as they look better and the improvement from not having any is very noticable.
