Nice find; I should think the likes of Mercedes and BMW are preety miffed that a 'small' British concern like Lotus can show them how it's done...

Lotus put ome intelligence behind thier designs. The big boys are obsessed with the "uberchassis" method. Therefore a golf drives exactly like an audi or a scoda. How can you differentiate a TT when it is a re bodied S3 with the samechassis as a scoda...

I know that Lotus are developing their own uberchassis program but the whole intelligence behind it is different, the lotus method is like a universal chassis tool kit so and individual chassis can be tuned for a very specific chacteristic, out of a set of common components. The chassis is tuned in a very specific method for the exact desired chacteristic.

Lotus get the fundamental basics perfect then build up from there. It is no wonder it is a winner and after my blat last night, there is no car in the same league.

Are we going back in time.... build your chassis & running train, then send them to your favorite coach builder... maybe there is something in that, hum
