Hangar 111 Ti Zorst!!!!
Discussion
Guys,
Have you seen the new Hangar111 zorst, I really like the carbon race version, I also like the diffuser support system but have one query. Would it be legal to put an adhesive number plate on the lower part of the rear clamshell. Not sure if it would look right (thats one for you photoshop guys) but I just hate the thought of fitting all that nice kit then spoiling the look with a number plate. Seems like a real weigh saving over standard.
Talking of weight reduction has anyone got a "diet" programm for the S2 with a list of what they did and how much weight saved, come on!! there must be some weight saving fanatics out there somewhere.
Cheers

Havnt got a plan yet, trying to get one sorted so that I can start. Dont want to change Part A now, only to find out that Part B needs a different part A.
Going to have a chat with some people at the Lotus Dealership to see what their ideas are.
Was originally considering Carbon Fibre shell, but having seen the cost, will have to reconsider that. A light weight exhaust seems to provide a large weight saving. A post on SELOC, showed an exhaust that saved 17kgs, but cost £700+vat. But it came with a 25yr warranty. Depends on what the warranty covers though.
Want to try and get a 111R sub 800kgs.

Interesting article of this nature is on www.340r.net where one guy managed to take 80Kgs out of a 340R so there is a good step for a hint in there. Guess its a case of checking what mods he made that apply to the Elise then seeing what Elise specific mods there are. One thing I was loking at was hauling out the aircon on my 111S as its gone sick & they want about 1K to replace it!!!
