Has anyone had any problems with the front driver side suspension? my 51 plate S2 failed it's MOT on wobbly suspension.

I took it over to Sinclares and the guy showed me that he could actualy wobble it with his hands. It is going to be under £100 to fix it but it's still a little worrying that it's gone so soon.

I think the guy at sinclares said it's the upper ball joint in the front suspension.

Although (touch wood) I never had the problem in the 3 Elises I've owned, I believe this is quite a common problem. Car should feel much better once its done. It's rather like shock absorbers - wear is very gradual, put a new set on and the car feels infinitely better.

Both of my front shocks have gone they are so rattley and am about to try and get new ones or repaired under warranty. 15000mile S2 literally shocking!!

you guys think ill manage to get this done under warranty or would this come under normal wear which is BS!

everything I've ever read supports that.

Unless you are very, very lucky I'd say that's wear and tear I'm afraid mate.

Think 15,000 miles is bad? Both rear dampers on my brand new Cerbera failed at 800 miles
