Cuzza,

I am thinking of poping along to spectate. Do you know if it is free/entry is allowed for this. Reason I ask is that I went to view a track day before at Goodwood and was refused entry as I wasn't a member of the Goodwood club!

I go up to Goodwood all the time and never ever been turned away, are you sure the Revival Meeting wasn't on or indeed a press day for the lead up to said event.

I am planning to pop along for a spectate.....

Should be fine for spectating - I've never had any problmems at track days/sprints etc.

Look out for the silver Elise going slowly!

There were no events other than a track day taking place. I was told that as I was not a member of Goodwood racing club etc ( I think it cost about £10.00 to join) then I could not enter. I even offered to pay to get in! but they still would not let me.

Anyway, I may well go along, silver S1 on a "W201...

No idea what that was all about, I must go every other weekend and have never been refused entry... see you there.

Last thing I need is your helmet flying around the passenger footwell while I'm trying to drive.

What a great day - managed six sessions in total so plenty of track time, using almost an entire tank of fuel in the process!

I was worried by tales of Goodwood not being for the beginner but if you get someone to show you the lines before you venture out then it's not that bad. There aren't that many corners so it doesn't take a ages to remember the order they are in.

A few pictures coutesy of Shnozz:
