Which steering wheel?

Hi All,

I'm after a new sttering wheel for my S2. only problem is I would like one that has the same or smaller diameter that the original Lotus one. (I think thats 300mm?) The other problem is I would like a nice simple suede rimmed one. Now I've looked all over and can't seem to find one that matches my criteria! I know that OMP do a 300mm "trecento" but it's not suede. the only other ones seem to be at least 330mm.

Does anybody know of a good online place I can go and have a look at?

Also I'm wanting to put it on a snap off hub and have the wheel a couple of cms closer to my body (Long legs!). The Lotus motorsport wheel setup is supposed to bring it closer but does anybody know by how much?

Basically what would be nice is if someone with a similar setup to what I am describing could give me an idea of how much further back the wheel would be!

There is a red Elise wheel on Ebay at the moment (saw it last Friday).

If not try Demon Tweaks and Grand Prix Racewear. Both have smaller suede sterring wheels.

You can get a 280 or 260.

Check that your wheel is actually 300mm though. If I remember correctly standard Elise is 320.

(I know that it seems minimal but in makes a huge difference when you actually see them).

oh, and Im after a 320 or 300 mm wheel so let me know when you find a replacement for yours!
