is the wiper blade an off the shelf part?

I read somewhere that the motor is from a citroen AX? Is the whole system from an AX?

S1 arm can take a Citroen blade take it off when you go into halfords and compare, may need some bending.

I would get an S2 arm fitted more selection then. Much better.

I've just replaced my S1 wiper blade with a Bosch Superplus 24 from Halfords.

You have to remove the Quick-clip and file down the raised edges of the smaller of the two sets of holes to get it to fit, but it only took about 10 minutes to do. I also filed down the rounded edges of the little separator bar and squeezed the two flanges together with a pair of pliers to allow the blade to swivel more freely.

It seems to work a lot better than the original Lotus blade.
