vin sticker

hi, i just picked up my secondhand 111s last weekend and was giving the car a clean today and i was about to remove the vin sticker from the front window as its be placed by someone on a Friday afternoon at the factory but i noticed it has a void film in it so do i have to leave it there.

i haven't seen this sticker on any other elise pictures so i was wondering if you guys just remove it any way.
