Hi,
I'm back home for the week so want to put the stereo I had in my old car into the elise but I can't figure out how to get it out.
Found the connectors under the passenger side but there is a blanking plate covering the whole area so only viable option seems to be removal from the front but cant see how to 'grab it'.
Has anyone done this and can advise? Much appreciated.
Thanks.
Matt

This page may help - look around sections 6&7 which shows the front sections being removed.

The connections are not 'under the passenger side', they're in the dash, beind the stereo panel.

Are you saying you don;t have a stereo currently and have the big one piece grey insert?

DO you have rear speakers in place?

THANKS

yeah currently have a stereo in there, took it to the local in car stereo shop and it just needed a special set of keys to pull the metal cage out, all sorted now.
Thanks.
