Where's my alarm....?

I need to get at the alarm unit to connect my central locking controller. (I know, extra weight!) Problem is: I dunno where it is! The Liz is a '51 plate S2 with factory Meta alarm - anyone know where the unit is fitted?

Nope, Steph, that wasn't it - there's nothing in the footwell apart from a couple of relays. I found the immobiliser and microwave sensor on the rear bulkhead under the black plastic cover, but no alarm.

Listening to the clicking of relays when I arm/disarm it, sounds as though the M99 alarm unit is in the dash behind the head unit, but I'm not gonna start ripping out until I know for sure...

Ah must be in a different place compared to the S1.

Could try setting the alarm off and listen to where the noise is coming from.
