A good mate is considering an Elise. trouble is he is 6ft 4 ins tall, and broad (not fat though )

Will he fit?
He's thinking of an S1 111s or 160

yep - I know people that are 6'7" with Elises....he will probably need a quickshift (shorter lever, moved over to the left a touch) and a removable steering wheel, with spacer, so he can have seat all the way back.....

With regards to being broad, that was my concern when buying an elise. I do a lot of weight lifting but still fit ok, best bet for your mate is to go and try one out for size. If you ask me, being broad helps-it stops you sliding about in the seats, unlike those pencil necks

Being no shrinking violet myself the only thing he'll find is that he'll probably rub shoulders with people when he's 2's up.

I'm 5'11 and pretty broad and my old man is 6'3 and bigger than me and it feels 'small' when we're both in the Elise.

Still a bl--dy good laugh though!
