Always about the 111R, I would be happy to know where is the limit for RPM for each gear?
On the book they said 8000 is the limit but 8500 for lower gear(s)!! Who knows exactly?
Did someone know whais happening then?
I start to discover the red zone but when pushing hard on speedways I prefer to look at the street and not the red light..

The engine is electronically limited to 8500. If you "bounce" off this limiter once the ecu will limit to about 8000 for the next few mins. It is possible to take it WAY over 8500 if you buzz the engine.

A good method of doing this is to change down from 6th, miss 5th and get 3rd. This is highly undesirable and will technically invalidate your engine warranty.

Theoretically, this can happen when following (racing) a bright red exige....

This is vaguely related, so hopefully someone can help.
The rev limiter light on the Speedo, is not the easiest thing to notice. So is there an option to get another light placed in a more prominent position and possibly even a buzzer.

Reckon ??

Gooby - you need a sequential gearbox

You can buy shift lights from Demon Tweeks, Grand Prix Racewear etc - that'd do you.

Gosh, don't know. There's obviously some sort of sensor which would most likely fit into the ignition circuit of the car and then the unit itself, meaning that you've gotta run a wire from the engine to the dash at the least...

sounds like a job for your local, friendly specialist...

Can probably hook it in behind the dash. If you don't know what you are doing I'd pay someone who does

The red LED is much more visible with the roof on - just went for a blast and noticed it without having to actually look. One of those new Megan Sport's decided he'd not let me overtake - amazing how I could hear his tyres squeal and how quickly the Megan appeared to become out of shape compared to the Elise! They're not slow tho, off cam I could keep up - had to be on 2nd cam to pass him (not that I got the opportunity, too much fun watching him try to get away). * sorry, off topic.
