I need to replace the "bloke in the co-pilot seat" camera mount with something cheaper, less opinionated and lighter weight (e.g. "your shite ... shut it fatboy") :argue:

My Sony PC101E doesn't seem to be bullet cam friendly and having searched the PH and SELOC archives I found http://www.b-hague.co.uk/Mounting%20Brackets.htm but still not clear if anything around £50 works off the shelf, and where to attach in an S2 without dismantling the interior.

cheers, HB

The sucky one...this one...

is very good, and I know a fair few people on here have one. It sticks to your windscreen and you mount the camera directly on to it.

I got myself a bullet cam and love it. Got a very small sucker which I attach the bullet cam with and can put it anywhere (down by front wheel, looking back at other cars, etc. etc) and it was well worth the expense. Do double check if your video camera can take one - all it needs is an a/v input!

oh, forgot to add, that you would need a little moutning thing (also available from same company) and that would 'work off the shelf' so to speak.

That would, of course, not require demolishing the interior!

Cheers Tony, I'll plan to get a sucky thing with a double ball tilt attachment like in the piccy at www.jackals-forge.com/lotus/filming.html

By the way, top job on the Larini vids; bought my motor with it fitted so didnt really appreciate the improvement ! Have you put a noise meter on it ?

Yup...that's the exact set up I was thinking of...

Glad you like the videos! I'm pleased people have found them of benefit! The improvement was quite surprising - and, in face, it surprised me when I made those videos how stark the contrast was. Needless to say, I won't be putting the standard exhaust back on!

I've not had a noise meter up to it, but in fact don't think it's that loud. While it's just right for me (I have only the back box - I use the car every day), when I go on runs with other sports cars, mine tends to get drowned out.
