Servicing in NOTTINGHAMSHIRE

Hi Folks,

Just thought I'd pop by and ask a quick question...

I've just bought my much love Type 23, which I absoutely adore...

But, however she needs a service and I was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere in the Notts area who could service her.

I don't particulaly want to pay main dealer prices...but is the next best a specialist or any mechanic worth his salt who know what he's doing?

Congratulations on the new car - I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun in it. I expect you're hoping for the sun to come out, as am I!

I have taken my elise to Peter Smiths in Hatton, Derbys in the past. They do a good job, but expect main dealer prices (£400 for an A service). I recently sought advice on alternatives in this forum and was pointed towards Horizon Motorsport www.horizonmotorsport.co.uk/ over Birmingham way (A service = nearer £100!!). They did an excellent job IMHO, but clearly it's less convenient.
