I am taking my Elise to the Isle of Wight tonight and I am travelling on the Red Funnel ferry from Southampton. I am a little concerned with the ground clearance of my front bumper while getting on and off. Has anyone driving an S2 on this ferry? If not then what can I do to protect the underside of the front clam? Can I stick gaffer tape along the bottom so if it does scrape then it scrapes the tap as opposed to the paintwork?

Think about Le Mans, and the kind of cars that go on Ferries to that, there's lower things than Elises. I wouldn't worry, and if it's an issue they have means of getting you on safely. I've seen a GT40 wait up at the side and get on last with some special ramps...
