MIL light help !!!

ok so this evening my low fuel light came on so i was making my way to the garage to fill up when all of a sudden the MIL light came on and the car stopped :o so i tyred to restart it but it was very lumpy so first thoughts was that i had run out of fuel so i called a mate who brought me some but the MIL light is still on all the time and the car still wont run very well.

i have found that it will run ok up to about £3000rpm but if i go over that it goes lumpy again and cuts out i then have to restart until i can get it to run normally again, so now i am driving with the MIL light on and not going over 3000rpm

dose any one have any ideas as to what it could be.

I can't help but if you are far from the dealer I would post the question on the Lotuscars forum. With chance you will find someone with the same problem or get an answer from Nick himself.
You need to be member. Go on www.lotuscars.com then Lotus club internationnal (horizontal menu above) then "member area"
There are at least 3-4 topics about that MIL light
