Help!
Tried to install the Hurricane Induction system onto my 111S this evening....
I managed (finally) to get the airbox and some ducting out, but there's a bloody great big box and pipe still left and I can't get it out? How the f*ck do you get this out!? I've ended up putting the new air filter on but without the ducting system for the time being, only because I couldn't be arsed to put everything back in again. Must admit, it does make a difference to the noise! Shame it isn't working properly, and it won't until I can get this other airbox out and fit the hurricane duct.
Any ideas??

If you take the wheel off and pull back the wheel lining you can get to the second airbox more easily

OK. Is it only the 111s that has this extra box? What's it for?

Just the 111s (Probably 111R as well but haven't looked). It's there to appease the noise nazis. Still at least it makes the Hurricane twice as noisy as it should be

When you say 'pull back the wheel lining', does it just do this without any fuss, or do I need to unbolt stuff?

I think its velcro'd/stuck to the wheel arch (could be wrong though). You shouldn't have to unbolt anything... apart from the wheel nuts of course, to get the wheel off

Ta matey! That really is excellent advice, in fact I'm thinking of suggesting that they change their fitting instructions. I uncrewed one of the fixings at the bottom of the wheel arch, then just pulled it down, popped the big airbox out and fitted the Hurricane scoop. Put the wheel back on (wheelarch mould just folds back into it's original shape) and that was it. Sounds fantastic.
