What a dumb ass I am, have had a minor altercation with a tree (reversing incident) and belted the rear clam in a vertical line near the drivers side tail light cluster. Can anyone recommend a bodywork repair shop in the Bristol area, have heard of Webbs Autos (aka Lotus Bodyshop)in Nailsea, anyone had any work done here or elsewhere?

Feeling really down now :(

Jimbo,

I spoke to Brin Jones earlier this week as they have just rebuilt our Mercedes A Class. I mentioned we had a TVR coming and would they be able to assist if the unfortunate ever happens.

The chap I spoke with certainly wasn't fazed by the idea of a repair to a glassfibre car.

They are the Porsche and Mercedes Approved Bodyshop for Bristol. They are on Golfcourse Lane behind the Airbus Plant.

They are very good indeed. They painted my M3 bumper in May and at the time they were completing a £20K repair on the new Bently GT Coupe.

You will probably find they are open tomorrow up until 12.30. Worth a try.

I cant recommend enough Peels motorkraft on crews hole road in Bristol. they have done loads of repairs for me to the highest standard and easily the most competitive price. www.peelsmotorkraft.co.uk
