Just leaving for the nurburgring, should be in cologne tonight, then tomorrow morning off to Kerppen to the home of Micheal Schumacher to drive go carts at his cart centre , out for a few shandys in Colonge ,and then to the ring on sunday, staying next to the ring on sunday night and then home monday morning.

Should be fun, not taking the liz as there are three of us going and might be a tight squeeze, so its in my brothers honda civic coupe.

Look foward to seeing you all when i get back and sharing my stories,

ye all take care now,

Just

Off to Krappen then the 'ring. Your holidays sound like fun!

Oi! Stay safe. The old word of advice for diving comes to mind "dont get dead".

See you when you come back, it will be the only holiday photos I will look forward to!

Just got back from the ring....Still Alive!!! Just!!

Wow it was nothing like i expected, I have a totaly new respect for that place, its mad, If you havent been put down your copy of GT4 and go and see it for real, great place to see cars, meet people, could talk about it all day but not now, will fill all the Bolox boys over a pint very soon...loads to tell.

Outdoor go carting was really fun as we were on slicks in the wet, practiced drifting, not quick but great fun!!!

See you all soon

I am up for a wednesday run this week.

Some parts of the curcuit are very scary, what the videeos and games dont give you is an idea of how tight it is in places and also how dramatic the hills and drops are and not to mention the blind corners, but the most scary thing is the bike riders, OMG they are just total nutters.

Saw a few Lotus cars there couple of elises and a Mk 1 Exige, a quick hello to the boys in the Black S2 that i spoke to, if your on here.

Best cars were Dark blue Carrera GT, Silver Lambo Gallardo that blew by us on the first straight, Brand new Gallardo SE (550bhp wow what a noise), loads of Porsche, modded GT2 and GT3,s including race cars, a Diablo, ferrari 360, new Focus ST (white with blue stripes but looked cool, and so much more.

Funniest cars were a coach, and several mini buses some with OAPs in the back on daytrips!!, 1.1 Fiesta with all tyres squealing, Turbo Smart roadster, and a BMW M5 with a huge dent in the back (i wonder how he will explain that one to the insurace co.)

Must do the ring taxi next time, they are F***ing quick, plus Sabine looks not too bad in the flesh!!!!

Its one thing to talk about doing the ring, its a heck of alot more doing it, total respect to those that have...........and lived to talk about it!!!!

If it happens to be the shopping trolley mentioned in a recent Gassing Station posting - not too bad!
The c**p weather didn't slow it down much.
From the saddle, we had a double take as it went past.

ACES mag! - not bl**dy likely.

I bet he's said a lot about me! Both have many good stories from over the years to tell.
Bit down on hardwear at mo, saving for a purchase later in the year.
