Well, she is replaced. She may be gone, but she will never be forgotten!!
Dropped on everything I wanted at a not so local dealer. Good deal I think, so thats all that matters. So its just a matter of the insurance coughing up now, I bet they won't be in as much of a hurry as me though!!!!
Will post more pics when she is sat outside, instead of flouting her stuff on a dealers catwalk. in the meantime enjoy the old and the new 'Elly'
PS can anybody find a good home for a Lazer Blue hard top? Drop me an email.

No, this little minx is a southern lass. Went all the way to Merrits for a look at her.
The seats arent my preference, they were red alcantera, but he offered to swap for black leather. Won't be the new spec seat though.
Saw a new spec elise there, the new rear lights look COOL............ and they can be fitted to older varients, if you can stump up £80 each. The new seats look nice, no lumbar support, apparently its that memory foam thingy, you know like in orthopeadic beds. A home from home for us oldies. Dont like the little tags sewn on to the headrests though, they remind me of that WELLE shampoo advert.......
Took her for a good blast, felt good to be behind the wheel again. I must admit to being tempted to stray lately, have tried S2000, 350Z, but they come no where near, the 111R is a beauty.

Thanks for all your kind words guys. Sorry dont have pics of rear lights, but they now incorporate reflectors, so the rear end has been tidied up a little, don't know if they are BRIGHT though. New one has hard top included, thats why the Lazer Blue one is up for sale, see clasified or ebay for details.
Another week has gone without a car in my garage. Still waiting for the insurance company to cough up, how long does it take to sign the bottom of a cheque? Will have forgotten what it is like to drive one by the time it is all sorted. This week has been short on sightings of elises, so at least I'm not getting too jealous of you guys out and about!!!!
