I know of myself and a few others that missed out on the group buy for Larini exhausts. Been in contact with Larini who are willing to do another group buy. Same rules as before:

2-4 exhaust units = 10% discount
5+ exhaust units = 15% discount
15+ exhaust units = 20% discount

Flat rate delivery = £13.50

Anyone interested???

Thanks

Gareth

Can I suggest that you get a quote from a Dealer too.

It was mentioned early on in the first group buy, that a dealer basically made their money on the fitting. So it might be worth getting their initial price for a single exhaust and then find out how much they would be willing to discount, if X amount of buyers agreed to purchase and have fitted through them.

I asked my dealer but they said no. They can do Janspeed, not Larini.

A dealer in London for example would be no good for people in Scotland etc...

I think you might find that this is the case for most people. The last group buy has saturated the market with those who had the cash and the motivation to get one now (bar the one or two people who just missed out through not seeing it) so getting more than 3 or 4 people might be a bit of a taks. Try again in a month or two once people have the cash and you might be more successful.

To hear a larini exhaust is to want one

I see what your saying, but reaching the 15% discount does not take too many people (getting the other 5% would be nice though). Gareth and I posted this on the SELOC forum and seem to have 5 people allready.

I too was not aware of the purchase and missed out.

Gareth & I will gauge the response over the next 2-4 days before making a decision with neil at larini to make it go live later next week?

Also.. regarding the dealer route...

It would be to complex to organise as many people are based at different locations throughout the UK. Also some might wish to fit it themselves etc..

Hi Dave B... what are you looking to get? and do you post on SELOC at all? We have 4-5 people interested over there so should at least reach the 15% discount mark no problem. Gareth and I will keep an eye out on this thread before going live hopefully nect week sometime

Larin web site shows two models for exhaust for S2 elise.. One slightly cheaper than the other. Anyone got details from Larini on both products?

They do the club sport and the (whatever the other name is).

The clubsport is the one that's slightly louder (the one that everyone bought on the other group buy) and is the one to go for. (and is the one you hear in the videos I made)

The (whatever the other name is) one is, in Larini's words, just an exhaust that goes 'burrrrr'.

Burr? I thought it was the "gentlemans sports exhaust"?

It is - but Larini said they were getting more and more calls for just an exhaust that goes 'burrr' (their words!). As such, they catered to this market. However, the discerning, true PistonHeader that is after the gentleman's choice of exhausts must go for the clubsport - of that there is no doubt!

(don't get me wrong - when I say it's the louder of the two, it's not loud loud. it's just 'nice'!)

Tony its your fault I ordered a Larin!
Heard yours in the vids and thought "thats for me", when mine fitted after a few miles I may as well have been driving one of those saxo/nova with those big dustbin pipes out the back you see knocking about..

Waiting for Larin to get back to me, may be a while as they not collected exhaust yest..

"Buurrrrr"

hehe, thanks (make sure you tell Larini that - you never know, 34 exhausts down I may get a t-shirt or something!).

Yup your exhaust definitely had something a miss with it - so, fingers crossed Larini can find what happened and sort it for you!

Getting my de-cat soon...can't wait for that to go on

Grrr I'm still here, still waiting and still impatient... at least it's forecast for non-stop rain for the next week... means I wouldn't have been able to get out there and enjoy it anyway :P .... so goes the twisted way I think about things anyway

Hopefully, thats why I queried the other product.. However If they tell me mine was ok then its far to loud for me, so was wondering how they would feel swapping for "Burr", which must be better than the opriginal..

I can't imagine for one moment that you'd think an identical exhaust to mine would be TOO loud. Make sure you keep us posted!
