S2 Exige Tyres

I have Yokohama AO48 tyres on my S2 Exige that are coming to the end of their life and looking at the date codes appear to be well beyond what I'd expect to give the best grip levels.

I understand the AO48 is no longer available as a road tyre and want something equivalent. ie a tyre with a mix of road and track use with good dry grip on track but able to just about cope with a wet trackday. Is the Yokohama AOAO52 the nearest direct replacement?

Any thoughts on other options?
