Additional key and fob

Apologies if the answer is one of the specialists suggested in the last post…

I have just one key and one fob. What’s the best route to getting another one?

Keys are pretty straightforward I think, you can order a blank and get it cut. If you have the ballbag fob, you should be able to find one new or used on ebay or similar.

To link a new fob you need your vehicle specific code, if you haven't got it a dealer should be able to supply it, just need to tell them the reg & VIN. Instructions for programming are here -> https://wiki.seloc.org/a/Vehicle_security_system.

Programming is a PITA, it should only take 5 or 10 mins, but took me over an hour and lost connection with both fobs at one point, so worth reading through the instructions a few times (I kept missing one of the steps at the end).
