As some of you know I accidentally bought a 135r last week. Many thanks to Chris and Dominic at Westover Sports cars in Poole. You made it far too easy for me to buy the car and have been great sorting all the little niggly bits  perfect gents and the veritable antithesis of the typical car salesman :bowtie:

I had been into Westover a few times recently to test the 111r and to get advice regarding upgrading the S1. Instead the 135r turns out to be just what I needed to reinvigorate my interest in the Elise. The 135 upgrade is modest in power terms but this engine revs further and is much easier to keep on song than the standard K. What is very noticeable is the difference in general handling which is profound. Precision is awesome and there is ludicrous amounts of grip from the A048s (on a dry road). The car sounds like a building falling down when on the pull and generates fantastic pops and bangs on overrun. I think the car looks stunning. The colour coded vents and hard top give the car aesthetic solidity and the black wheels really finish it off.

Although the S1 is still a great car I can not find a single thing that I prefer on my old car to this beast.

This car is amaizing. I love it :cloud9:

Must admit I hated it at first and was considering changing it but it does grow on you (not literally of course). Always comes out really garish on photographs too. One week on though and I actually really like.

Having seen it in the flesh, I can only say that it does look as good in the flesh.
The trim really isnt as bad as the picture makes out, not as in your face as it first appears
