Exige V6 pricing

I wonder if anyone can shed some light on what the Exige V6 is actually selling for in the current market?

Pricing is all over the place it seems, there is a massive spread on similar cars (eg similar 2014 cars for £40k from a dealer and £47k privately). The more expensive they are, the more cries of ‘bargain!’ on the forums, no doubt this is owners talking up prices. Yet clearly not much is selling, there are cars on the market that have been there for over 12 months if not more.

I’m in the market and was hoping to get an early 350 for £43-45k which was doable last year but not, it seems, anymore if the asking prices are anything to go by.

Now the summer is coming to an end the prices will fall a bit and if you are patient you should be able to find a 350 within your budget .More likely from a private sale , rather than a dealer but the "good" Exige's will command a higher price.
However , I have noticed over the past 12 months that less cars are coming up for sale .As an owner of an Exige 350 I will only sell it when I cannot get it anymore as there is no other car (IMHO) that provides such a raw driving enjoyment at this price and there never will be again. I think many owners feel the same.

There's a cup 380 in the classifieds that is right up my street spec wise and I think is fairly priced. Sadly it's 9 months to a year too early, if they are a similar price in 2027 I'm hoping to get one.

I've had a V6 before, they really are mega but one of the biggest issues for me with the V6S now is the close to 900 quid a year road tax. A 2018 Cup 380 is 200 quid.

Definitely an interesting time in the market for them. As said above, I think owners are starting to think that keeping them is the right call, there's fewer on the market than even just a year ago when I bought my 430 Cup. The problem in my head really is what to replace it with - there's very little out there that replicates the manic, manual road racer-type vibe, and nothing new is ever going to come out to fill that niche.

Something like a GT3 RS or a 430 Scud would, but prices for them have gone insane; all you are left with really is the Cayman GT4 and personally I don't think they quite fit the bill. I'm keeping mine.

It's not just the Exige market, the Evora market is dry as well. It's usually the time you see cars popping up as people try to move things on before winter sets in, but barely anything listed.

This is a big part of it as well. The March 2017+ models are the ones to get, and likely the ones to hold their value better.

I'm also looking to get into a Sport 350 [up to a 410 if possible financially] next summer. I'm just about to SORN my M2 for the winter and will probably keep it off the road until it's time to change it for an Exige. I'm also toying with an Emira as well but feel it'll be too soft for what I'm after.
