Depends on overall condition, I'd say 12.5k would be fairer (I don't add any extra value to the CR box).

I paid 13.6k for a 2000 W plate earlier this year in almost tip-top nick, with 24k on the clock.

Might not be of interest but my car has to go soon, haven't advertised it yet. It's a Super 160, not a Sport. If you want details feel free to email through my profile!
Cheers, Richard
P.S. Those Sport 160's are gorgeous.

It does look nice, however I do have my heart set on a 111s or Sport 160.

Can anyone tell if the one in the above link I posted is one of the later or the Earlier types?

Hi, I have a sport 160 2001 reg on a Y plate. One of the last I think. Its priced low for what it is. A dealer would have it on the forecourt for £15-16K. The millage is quite high. Mine has only done 25,000 mile now, had 9,000 on it when I bought it a year and a half ago. All I can say is try it. Some 160's are rough a a dog, and other drive very smooth. I'm lucky, mine as good as it gets. Make sure you try it from cold. They warm up in a matter of minutes but it should feel tight and unwilling when cold. As soon as its heated up though, it should feel very fluid. A little irratic, but you have to expect that from this tunned version. It like to be kept on the boil. Around town, I think the standard elise feels quicker just because of the low down torque, but once into the revs, it goes like nuts ! good luck.

Can't knock your choice, that car looks great. More info on the Sport 160 is available here:
www.elises.co.uk/models/sport160/index.html
If you can get the VIN you can cross check the car.
Good luck, hope to hear about you in an Elise soon!
Sure S Works will be happy to give you the lowdown on the cars as he has one himself.
Richard.

It 'looks' like a Sport 160S, late model WVTA (which IMvHO is the one to go for if you're after a 160). If you can get hold of the VIN or the reg date you'll be able to confirm that.

What is better about those ones?
I think that I will be meeting in a few weeks due to commitments on both our parts and will be leaving the TVR there and coming home with the Elise
