Last time I did an oil change I went with the manual recommendation and stuck in Mobil 1 Motorsport - pricey but then I do trackdays plus everyday driving.
But then dealers use different manufacturers - Bell & Colvill stick in Shell Helix, others use Castrol Magnatec.
Manual says that viscosity when cold is 0-20W, hot 50-60, ACEA A3 standard

Depends what its for.
For road stuff I would stick with what it says in the book.
For track stuff use Silkolene high performance stuff.
There is a guy from a place called Opie Oils (Oilman on SELOC & Exiges.com) who recommends and supplies it by mail order and does deals through SELOC & Exiges.com
Its supposed to be good for 10 hours track time before it starts to shear which is a lot longer than stuff like Mobil 1 etcI picked up 20 litres at the Castle Combe Rally Day from him for £100

For normal road use - its a Rover K series Mini Metro engine - put whatever you like in - semi synthetic from Halfords is just fine - Castrol GTX etc...no probs.
For track use (no oil cooler as std) - then Id go fully synth and change it twice as often - as above...Silkolene Pro-R - join SELOC and follow link above for discount.......
