After the rain !

First dry day, time to wash and de-leaf the car ( don't park under trees ).
Looked in the boot for the tool kit, and found the Allen key starting to oxidise, further inspection showed slightly wet carpets, especially to the right of the boot.
Its probably worth you all checking out yours, given the amount of rain and the strength of the wind we have had this week.
Mine is a new S2, so it still happens !

Found it out soometime ago.
My drive is on a slight hill and the drains for the boot lid are at the back of the boot rim towards the engine bay.
So washed car, with the car facing up the hill. Came to empty out the boot the next day to find an inch of water in it.

Now I reverse the car up the drive, before washing it.

Yeah.... mine being an S1 is the opposite... drains are at the back... need to replace my boot hinge (have one on order from B&C) and will do my boot seal at the same time
