Just found this on Exige forum - superb piece of in-car cam work and the driving skills are OK too:

He certainly lost some paintwork during that lap - but his straght line speed was far higher than the other cars. What was lurking in his engine bay?

Bloody hell, who was it, where was it, what was in the engine bay.

That was just amazing. He seemed to have a few cars faster than him for the first third of the vid, then just started to blast past everything. Dont think the Yellow Elise will be to happy with him, think he hit him pretty hard, even the picture quality starts to break up.

As someone has already said, he certainly knew his line. That or he had glue on the tyres

If anyone does have info on this, please post it.

Not only that but there is some serious out braking going on there. Its almost like the other cars dont know where they are supposed to be going

An engine not more powerful than the others.
You can see that in accelration he was actually worse than some.
BUt once they were up to speed he had a much better line, no fear to rub paint and two cojones the size of melons!

In some places he chose not to brake when others did.

All driver, no engine advantage.

Wow a very good driver he is, not afraid for a few hits now and then, very cool to see, exelent!
But, when you've got a good feeling with the car and a nice set up and not afraid of some damage on the car! you can see what you can do with that car, he must be driving tracks a lot

Superb! There is more racing in that little clip than in the whole F1 season.

That guy must walk like a cowboy with balls that big!

I dont think his straight line speed was any better. At the start he is level with the yellow car. His skill was finding oppertunities to lever his way through traffic and then carrying any speed he has through the bends.

^^ Exactamundo Fonzy!

The simple fact was that he clearly knew the track better than everyone else, had WAY bigger balls and outdrove everyone comprehensively. He'd be an ace cabby in London traffic on a Friday night

I agree with the skill level, but would not like to meet him on a trackday - way too expensive in repair bills!

Pure ballz 'n' racecraft.
Loved the way he toss the car in to the corners after outbraking the competition, then catching the tail with the throttle.
Shows me why F1 is not worth watching.

Wow, now that amount of traffic on a track would scare the cr*p outta me!

Good job there were no wallabies this time...

Great driving!
