Ive just been to the petrol station and the pressures in my tyres were between 9 and 11 psi all round. The car is not often used and I understand the importance of the tyre pressures being correct, but after 2 to 3 weeks is it normal for them to be this low or do I have a Alloy/tyre interface issue?

Assuming you had them all in the mid-20's last time and they are now all reading between 9 & 11 it seems more likely that one or both of the machines you are usuing is wrong. Chances of all four leaking equally badly is unlikely

yeah something's wrong. Try going to a different petrol station and check again.

9-11 psi is nothing. Can't you tell by looking at the tyre ? Must be possible to tell with that low pressure . And as Stuart said they can't all be flat.

The car sits in the garage for a couple of weeks at a time and when I took it out I knew the tyres were low, checked them on the guage at home and got the same reading at the Petrol station up the road.

They wernt all down to the same value but were all low. I just thought it could be a common problem but obviously not . Ill see if it happens again and go and get it sorted if it does.

Go down to your nearest tyre fitter and get four new valves, can't imagine it is going to be more than £5 each ?

and phone up Demon Tweeks and buy a proper tyre guage. Ones at garages are dirty and dropped off the ground etc - can't ever be that accurate.
