Up against some interesting cars.
Looks like Mr Kershaw will be driving, as in one of the pics he is suited up.

Sounds tempting
I've heard also that the engine can take 300ps as it is? so the 289ps is almost max when they don't change the internals, and sounds good to me! and that weight of only 750kg...yummy
Wonder how that thing goes...and sounds(I think loud?! because of a leightweight) and bogie, you've got a nice example! 300ps honda in a elise, love that, sadly those conversions you don't see much in a mk2 around here in the Netherlands.
In januari there come's a exige cup 240 LHD (2005 model) free and I have an option on that car, hope I can get some more ps out of it(around 280ps I hope) when I buy it...

I guess that explains the 290bhp!

just soo many questions...
how are they going to get 289Ps from that engine without FI? (I see no mention of a supercharger?)
and 750Kg's will take some doing.
this sort of flys in the face of what FIA GT3 regs are also...
It is supercharged...
it would have to be, but I see no mention of this.....
not sure how this would fit in with the FIA regs for the class?

Yep, in the data they talked about a supercharger, but in the 2005 model they've only got around 240hp...
Then I remembered RR, there you also can get a supercharger set-up but then with 250hp, but when they wanted more power they use a Twin Screw 1200 blower! that set up is good for aound 280hp! so with some other tweaks around the block you can get 290 I think.
And the best is there fare price...7.500usd so 6.250euro or around 4.223gbp
So now you know what you can do with your 111R Elise or exige.

Isnt the screw type blower the german design and the roots type blower (hairdryer style) the english design.
Jag uses roots type and the mercs use the screw
(there is probably a joke there if I had time to look)
I thought for high revving engines, the roots type was better?
And I think for high revving the Twin Screw is better?!
they used the roots for manny big engines also? and mostly those big engines are not that revving...?
Also the Twin does not look that heavy...?! or lumpy? but I don't know for shure...maybe you can find out, and tell the joke
