Apologies if its not straightforward to access, but you'll find it worth the effort - oh, and turn the sound up too!
Cheers

That is incredible! Perfect driving. I definitely do not have the cajones / skill / fortitude etc to do that. Did a few stints in an old formula ford car years ago - that was pedestrian by comparison. Open wheelers do not handle accidents well - even a wheel touch at 40mph may write off the car, let alone a chat to the armco on that course.
The BoLOC's have been following AndrewM around the hill climbs. They are brilliant events. They are always very friendly and you can go around the paddock and chat to the drivers, they are very friendly and seem to enjoy chatting about thier cars.
The range of cars is incredible, from old austin's to lotus to ex F1 cars to home built "nut" cars like the jaggernaut it is so much fun.
The last one we watched there were a group of GT40's!
The course is usually about a mile with at least 2-3 hairpins most bends are off camber and all with a run off of trees.
Cars do this in as low as 27 secs on some courses. Great racing and incredible spectating.

Quiet for me Chris...
The driver in question is Martin Groves, this years British Hillclimb Champion - the car is a Gould GR55 - essentially a modified F3 chassis with a de-tuned F1 motor stretched to about 4 litres with softer cams to promote torque.
The hill is Doune in Scotland and the run you see broke the record. To put the performance into perspective, the quickest modified Elises are somewhere around 12s slower up this hill!

only one moment of losing concentration and your car is history I guess...
