Just - How the heck can they cancel a car as impressive as the M250 and then release this? They will never break into the boxster market with this - slower than an elise with a 111r interior. Lotus seem to be losing the plot. I hope they don't annihilate the S3 when that comes out.

I'm waiting for an Exige and meantime driving a 350Z which is cheaper and faster than the Europa and more likely to appeal to the "GT" market.

I'd realy liked the M250...but don't know about this, some angles I like and some absolut not...but the aftermarket can make it look a bit better I think...
This earlyer pc model of the europa looked oké for me...

But this one?? from this angle not too bad, but less then the above!and the front site I don't like that much when you look at the picture's

I am not suprised at the mixed reaction to this car, I think that for a car to drive day to day year round it looks good. With the easier access and less extreme looks they will attract a different type of buyer.

Mrs Just1 likes alot and may want to look into it, as it makes alot more sense than a elise or exige for her job.

Looks like you can possibly remove the roof from the pics too!

I have long been a fan of all things lotus and generally I will defend them wherever and whenever. At this point I am biting my toungue and just saying that it had better look better in the flesh.

Gutted as well - although on seloc one of the chaps has photoshopped it to remove the shut lines and make the window fit properly, look a lot better, but I couldn't live that that hideous rear end. I'll be cancelling my order shortly. Not a good day.

Looks crap personally, Lotus is supposed to invoke a positive reaction, this quite frankly looks like it was designed in Korea. Which given Lotus' sketchy ownership, it doesn't suprise me one bit. Will sell sh?tloads though because the great unwashed public hasn't a clue about design and styling, they'll probably gove one to David Beckham and then the ordes will come flying in!
