Rattling rear Window

I glued the rubber seal back on to the rear window of my S1. It now has a very annoying rattle between 2.5 and 3k revs (only under acceleration when moving, not steady speed or slowing).

I put foam sticky tape round the glass and rubber at the top where the metal clips are. I thought it worked for about 5 minutes then back to the usual, so I'm not sure.

This leads me to think that these are the bits making the noise, or I have the wrong material to stop it.

Given it only does this when moving and all manner or left handed pushes at different bits of the window make no difference, I can't work out what is causing the problem.

Could it be the clips or the body-coloured clip on bit? rather than the actual glass rear window itself?
