Yesterday I met another neighbour through the Elise. He's just bought a 111R and came trotting over to ask what I had done to mine as it sounded fantastic.

Looks like another Larini 'zorst will be ordered shortly!

Hi Phil, It was great to meet you yesterday...... Can't wait for a spin (not literally, I hope !!!!) up the road. Only problem is that I fear it's going to be a very expensive passenger ride as I know i'll end up buying a Larini or something similar (poss a Quicksilver...... Oh Christ, not another "Larini vs Quicksilver vs what exhaust shall I buy, thread.......).
ps, only mods I've done so far are - New speakers front and rear (Focal 10cm and 13cm) and a Pioneer TS-WX22A sub on the rear deck (controversially, not the "105" as I thought it took up less room on the deck itself) and bought from John Kleis car audio in Reading - can recommend them highly (01189 866224)- fitted them myself - long winded and time consuming and shreaded knuckles, but perversely, good fun!!! and the sound is now fantastic. Also, I've fitted a couple of extra luggage nets, self tapping screwed onto the rear bulkhead behind the drivers seat (BEWARE NOT TO USE TOO LONG SCREWS DUE TO THE FUEL TANK BEING BEHIND HERE) and down by the passengers seat (looked everywhere for right size ones and had to slightly modify the one for the pax seat area, but they are great - bought from "Colins Caravans" on A4, 1/2 way between Reading and Newbury (01189 712424) cost £6.50 each, as I seem to remember. (oh, and it's got a Pipercross induction kit, too)
Car is fantastic, by the way, but due to work, I've only managed to put 70 miles on it in a couple of weeks, so running it in will be a time consuming process (100 miles on total on car!!!)if I keep up the present rate of driving it. (I know, I know, don't be too harsh on me!)
Sorry for the appalling layout of this thread, I hope you can follow it). Cheers for now, Jon (see you in a few days, Phil!)
