Its my birthday at the stroke of Midnight!

And Im turning 25

Quarter life crisis, anyone got any heart warming advice to get me through this troubled time? Or is it all down hill?

Enjoy it my man, 25 was a good time for me (33 at the moment) parts of the body didn't hurt, no worries, the only thing great about getting old is:
1. Your insurance will come down.
2. Your closer to retirement.
Have a good b'day

Mid 20's crisis is a great excuse to blow even more money on cars - so happy birthday....

My bad news is the 20's end for me in 06.... as long as I don't end up swapping the 135r in for a nice Vectra I'll be happy enough !!

almost 25? mate, your life just begun...the older you get the more experiensed you are in everything you do...sure, when you get older(around 30) you start loosing some braincells like everybody else but believe me when I say you get the know more about who you are, so your feelings are getting more real so things you do too...(normaly spoken)
I'm almost 43 and my grown up life was best between 27 and 37...
So time anough to have fun and hopefully joy...
So to you it is a Happy New-year and a Happy Birthday then.

Liar Rene - when you get that monster car of yours back on the road on the 16th you are going to be laughing like you were 8 years old. Best years should always be right now!

B*llsh*t is it downhill. You need to take a long hard look at yourself and ask "have I larked about enough yet?". "Have I kn*bbed enough sexy fillies yet?". "Have I travelled enough yet?" etc. And then go out, get a few more quid, do a few more interesting things, and make sure you don't waste one minute of your 20's.

I have a week left of mine and right now I'm planning a snowboarding trip, trying to decide whether or not to keep the car and make it even better or upgrade to a loony Honda'd S2, finalising the plans on an extension to my house, and finishing off my last beer before heading to bed with the doris...

Christ, mid-20's, if only I could remember that far back.

The easiest answer is enjoy it. I didnt truely settle down until I was 33, when my Son was born.
My wife keeps complaining I need to grow up, my response is always, Why ?.

As the quote from a bond film goes, "Getting old is mandatory, growing up is optional". Currently I am still exercising that option.

You are never too old to enjoy your childhood! I have friends of 60 who are fitter than they were when they were 20, have just as much fun. More importantly they now have the wedge to afford all the toys they want.

Downhill? Not a chance. You are only as old as who you feel - ore something like that.

I stopped counting my age at 22. for some reason I got all depressed at 30. Didnt do any good. Just bl00dy enjoy. No one else cares how old you are and they really dont care about your "mid life", so why should you. Tomorrow there will be another challange so get stuck in.

As for mid life crisis, I started mine at 22 by buying a Mk1 Mr2 and I have had a new crisis every few years when I felt the car needed changing.

Go out buy a car that you love and several toys and then practice grinning.

Waking up to a beautiful woman every day helps.

thanks Guys, just starting to recover from last night. Had a top night in Cream in Liverpool and then a blast with the roof off.

I like the Bond quote, growing up is definatly optional.

I guess what ever age you are you can always enjoy yourself.

Happy New Year

Nick
