Mk1 111s Oil Pressure Light

Started the car after not using it for a bit and the oil pressure light stayed on. Turned off + checked oil (plenty), started up again same problem. Suspect a sensor issue rather than anything more serious but dont want to risk it. anyone know where the sensor is or anything else simple I can check before calling the AA?
