Had my car since Sat, but due to work and weather i havnt used it since Sunday!
Its really dirty now (see my profile) and was wondering on the best method of cleaning - are jet washes okay?

Was going to take it to the hand wash place but i have visions of the roof letting in water if the get it wrong!

call o the dealer closest to you and get everything you will need, then love your car 'till it shines better than anything on the road.

Either that or find out when the official BoLOC valet is free (Just1)

I wouldn't use a jet wash, too much risk of paint coming away from the fibreglass, especially near the exhausts where it might be a little flaky from the heat.

Wash by hand, means you don't miss anything and you get by far the best results - its also a tiny car so takes no time at all!

I use the power washer with the pressure turned down a wee bit for the paint, have it cranked right up for the glass, the underside, the wheels and under the arches. I haven't had any problems. It leaks above the door where the window meets the roof but it does that in the rain anyway.

I use a standard wash/wax, always dry it and I use Auto Glym polish and Zymol wax.

Totally agree. I would not recommend jet on the car for the paint and on working pieces for the risk of too high pressure. Hand wash is just a pleasure...
