When for example an S2 elise roof leaks you can make it a bit better, I did the "same" with the roof of my Speedster Turbo you in GB know as VX turbo? and some other cabrio's.
try to find the weak spots(usely around the side's of the roof leaking just in the cabin in the corners.
there are small raingutters in the rubber around the roof/doorstyle sometimes those are badly function check that by letting some small bits of water(drops) in it(very small amount just to see the function) and see if its function works, sometimes there are small pieces of rubber in the way(like on a new tire)cut those carefully away tho smooten the waterflow and look at bad fitment gaps for not sealing good anough the doorwindow and rooftop? again only in the corners of each side of the roof/car/doorwindow.
You can fill the rubber up with black full silecon(what they use to seal windows) for example the gap or bad/weak fitment between roof and roofrubber on both sides of the car.

--Clean the roof/carros rubber where you want to work at and let dry.
--tape the roof/window on the place where you expect the sileconmatterial comes(use plastic tape thats slippery on the outside) but not where you want it to stick.
--put some silecon on the clean area where the rain comes in or where you can see the cap(fill that up)
--carefully put the roof back on, that way the roof make's a near perfect fit.
--smoothen the "rest" black silicon material with some dishwas/water mix that way it looks like one with the cars rubber.
--let it dry for a long time because silicon needs a long time to dry/harden depends on thicness matterial used!
--when its hardened or leaf it on for a long time when not use, then take of the roof carefully the silicon sticks on the rubber but not on the slippery tape, so then take the tape of and ready is your better sealing of the roof and less or none? leaks.

That way you can stop easely half of your roof leaking problems, its also a bit less windnoise too.

Have fun trying just let your mind think what the water will do and you help it go of the car and not in the car

The 111R seal kit can be retro fitted and has little rubber ears to collect the water around the weak point where the side glass meets the windscreen surround. Works a lot better and some what less labour intensive

OR you could adjust the window. On the R there is a few adjusters on the window mechanism which ensure it fits correctly.

Tackle the cause not the symptom

Excellent - you just volunteered to adjust mine then. Bring all the necessary tools on the 27th.

Is this the man with his heart set on the SC Honda?

You keep to your highly strung elastic band and I will have your Hooonda.

Thats one of the best options ofcorse when youve got something to adjust, but on some "handmade" cars(cabrio's) the caps are still to big or rubbers are wrong?
I once had the problem with the roof from a TVR Griffith that could not get adjust high anough and then I maked a special alu strip with some origenal carsealrubbers on the roof on both sides and that way I could make the windnoise go away, and the car still looks origenal and good.
