I have a 2005 111S & are looking at spending £1000 - £1500 on some upgrades.

I have decided on Larini exhaust (Club Sport with sports cat) & Hurricane induction kit as definates.

Any suggestions on what else i could treat myself too?

Here www.carlimits.com/

After trainign I'd go for braided hoses and better pads.

I will let you know once i check if I can use them on my Cup 240, as far as i was aware the offset on the rears is different on that and on the 111R so you may need to check things out. If i can use them for wets on the 240 thats great but failing that the may only suit the k series cars.
Answers on a postcard please??????????

They will not fit either the 111r or the 240 cup - completely different offsets to the k series engined cars (yours was a 111s before the new bodykit wasn't it?). I like what you did with the car - very minimalist - truly in keeping with the Chapman philosophy. Strip away all the non- essentials eh?

Yep. There's a PDF about the various official wheel and tyre combos hidden away on the Lotus website here www.grouplotus.com/car/car_aftsales_techtpc.php?section=9&page=12&page_id=38

Those of you that know me know that when there's chance of interest I'm straight in there. Check out this link for a tasty induction kit.

Good choice, Sir! I have these on my 04 111S (- sports cat) and they sound fantastic!
Plus you won't feel the need to upgrade for a while and can save up for other goodies (braided hoses, quickshift, OZs & 48s, nitrons, Honda etc)

You lucky lucky b**tard!

I couldn't get in the nearest 3 places and where I ended up fleeced me of £55 to listen to people in the next room arguing all night and the people above going at it like rabbits at 4am. The saving grace was the room and bathroom were very nice!

Needless to say when I left at 6:30am I left the Elise (Larini and CRP = bloody loud when cold) idleing away whilst I played with the tyre pressures!

Im looking at doing a driver training day, currenty toying between Car Limits, as well as the one PistonHeaders get discount on - both look good.

Basically i am a decent road driver. I did a bit of karting as a kid, i just find myself close to becomming unstuck in the Eise sometimes.

Is there a day which stands out better than others?
