Strange Noises

Hi all and a happy new year ( if it still is. . .)
Sorry I haven't posted for a while but I have a question:
When I change gear (Elise 111s S1) I often get a "clicking" sound. I'm sure this is often the throttle pedal assembly which looks like it might fall to pieces at any time anyway. Sometimes however, I'm sure its the gear change itself. Anyone ever experienced this?

might be a loose or worn gear selector?

sounds like a the problem i had with my mini years and years ago

is it sometimes difficult to get it into second?

Not difficult to get into gear really.
Worn gear selector sounds likely though.

Check the clutch pedal. Mine has started to click also and I'm sure it's something to do with the pad on the pedal - doesn't do it all the time, only now and again. Gear change is still perfect.

If its the clutch pedal you'll need to read this and get into the lotus position
