S2 Front indicator pod falling ou

I've had my S2 111S for a year now - fantastic fun - but i've had the front indicator pod fall out for the second time now! I know this is a common fault but is there a fix to help prevent this happening again?

Following someone else's tip I used blu-tack on the lugs and that did the trick nicely.

It's a recall I believe. Lotus will retrofit stronger one's... or just wad it with blu tack and tell you they've fixed it.

I think if you contact your dealer, they will attempt a free fix even if the car is out of warranty. They know the original design isn't optimal.

I think the lenses have now been re designed and are a better fit. You may get these as a free upgrade.
