Any bright ideas how to remove the pasenger seat? Those rear hex bolts are impossible to reach and bastard tight.

Hey,

I know how you feel. You need a big socket set that has some CV joint style thingies.... oh and the long extension bar. Us a ratched spanner with both of them and it will be easy to do. I recommend that you replace the bolts after as the heads tend to get chewed up a little and the last thing you want is one of them buggered as you will never be able to remove it again !

Get a set of cheap allen keys and weld a length of flat bar to the correct size one at an angle to clear the seat and the sill. You can then use some adjustables or mole grips to loosen the allen bolt.
The first job I did on the Elise to clear out the crap from under the passenger seat.
