Sorry if I'm covering old ground but I would be grateful for advice on the following:

1. Can you use a jetwash on an S2 Exige. My brother has a Noble M12 and was told not to jetwash it.

2. Is removing the roof on an Exige as easy as taking off an Elise Hard Top? I know this was discussed yesterday but I couldn't find a definitive answer.

Thanks

I wouldn't jet was my car. Lotus paintwork not the best I would say and why risk any damage.I prefer to wash my cars by hand anyway , you get a better result. As far as the roof is concerned I've been told the dealer can do a conversion at around £150.00 - not definate though just what I've heard.

As far as the roof is concerned, yes it can come off and the Elise short roof used in its place, so long as the catches in the 4 corners are added and holes for the 2 struts are put in place. B&C do this a lot.
Be careful about insurance. The Exige is classed as a Hard top, so you have to inform the insurance company of the change.

I pressure washed my S2 after a muddy trip and cleaned out rad but underneath is the fan heater motor which is not water proof.
It went bang.

Off with the clam and £300 later.

Bucket and sponge is best.
