Hi, toying yet again with the idea of an Elise. Has anybody dropped the vvc 160 lump in? obviously it'll fit, but whats the wiring like in an elise. is it just a swap for the 160 loom in the engine bay. ive told myself my next car i am def not going to get heavily involved with modding like the current one, which ive done an engine swap, tb's, made own loom up etc for standalone etc!! and generally cut too many nuckles on!
appreciate and ideas on this or recommended tuning options for a base elise. or maybe a 111s?
whats the general price on the LSS suspension? or is this a little extreme for road?

also seen a nice looking type 49 for sale, £14495, 11000 - does seem a bit pricey - do you pay for extra for the colour scheme on these models?

Thanks.

just buy a car thats already converted - have a look on SELOC...there was a sorted S1 with 1.8T Audi lump - 250bhp £15K

not worth mucking around putting a 160bhp VVC engine in a std S1 - just buy a 111S to start with or mod existing engine

LSS isnt all that clever - get Nitrons or use S2 suspension on S2 for road use
