Does anyone know of one that fits the S2 Elise.

Any help would be great, as I have convinced the other half that we an Elise, but need to make sure it can cope with all the luggage for a two week camping trip to the Alps every summer.

It would be too expensive to change the other half so sensible suggestions please?

Phone eliseparts - they do one for the s1, so an s2 version can't be impossible.

not possible to fit a normal rack on an S2 Elise as the clams are too thin to support it...there is a company in the US that do a custom rack but its megabucks - like over £1K I think

dosent fit an S2 - you cannot fit one the clams are too thin to support it so no-one has made one

search www.elisetalk.com in the US - there is a US company doing a rack which attaches differently

that lotus dealer says it fits on a mk1 and a mk2 ?? thats what it says, but ofcorse I have no experience with racks on a car(I don't want them on a car, but ofcorse they can come in handy?) strange then but you reconnice this one? so the clams are to thin? maybe put some bigger rubber-plates under to rest on the clam?? maybe call that dealer on the phone he come's in GB very often they also do a trip with some members from 16 to 19 march they also go to Hetel and donington?

well will the dealer pay for the damage if you fit it to an S2, load it up with luggage and then it cracks the rear clam ?

Mrs Trackside - I looked at the link and it says "Two small body holes are easily covered. No cables or straps on wobbly body parts. Rigid, firm, aerodynamic, and handsome."
Hmmm - I like their style.

btw- I'm sure my S2 says somewhere on it NO MORE THAN 50KG IN THE LUGGAGE AREA
