has anyone tried the adjustable fan controller from eliseparts.com? if so, how does it fit in and was it good for you?

No, I haven't either - what makes you think you need one?

It depends what you post, tell them you love smoking and you will be overwhelemed I promise you...

If the adjustable fan is to deal with misting windscreens then my recommendation is to save some money and effort and treat the inside with Fog-X. I did and it really does work very well. I wouldn't treat the outside with Rain-X however as it leaves my wiondscreen smeared when i uses the wipers. I suspect Rain-X and Fog-X are the same product repackaged so you buy two..... like I did.

This may all be irrelevent of course...

We're talking radiator fans here - the screen one is already adjustable.

IMO - not worth it, if you're paranoid about HGF, fit a remote thermostat but if you let the car get warm before you thrash it and let it cool down before switching off after said thrashing then with a bit of luck you'll be OK.

Welcome, by the way

That's true - this place has threads more along the lines of "What hat should I wear?" and "What colour viper stripes match my eyes?"

Or you can post on SELOC and be flamed for asking technical questions that they feel beneath them

Or having an opinion which differs from the mob

I must say that the first thing I did with the TVR was to fit a fan override switch, but with the Elise I havn't felt the need.
